Overview
The Chadwick Center at RCHSD is a nationally accredited, hospital-based Children’s Advocacy Center providing trauma-informed, family-focused services to help children and families heal from abuse and other trauma.


Program Description
The Trauma Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) Initiatives promote child abuse prevention and early intervention, including Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health services. These grant-funded programs deliver clinical services, professional training, and consultation to improve outcomes for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers.


BrightConnections, a federally funded initiative, strengthens family and professional networks through integrated, trauma-informed care. Services include therapy (individual, dyadic, and group), case management, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and caregiver support. The BrightConnections Family Center focuses on perinatal and early childhood needs, addressing complex socio-emotional, behavioral, developmental, and medical challenges.

The Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) Agency Mentorship Program trains Chadwick Center clinicians to become internal CPP trainers, enhancing organizational expertise in evidence-based practices.


Position Summary
The Trauma PEI Supervisor provides administrative oversight for BrightConnections, the CPP Mentorship Program, and other prevention initiatives. This role collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure integrated, high-quality services for families. The Supervisor is expected to develop advanced expertise in outreach, prevention, and system-level collaboration in child abuse and early childhood mental health. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to equity, inclusivity, and respect, fostering a culture that values diverse perspectives. A strong focus on operational excellence and performance improvement is essential.

This is a casual, grant funded position with an end date of 9/28/2026.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible, in coordination with the Director of Clinical Operations, for the oversight & operations of a mental health program for children and families. This position provides leadership for the mental health, prevention, and/or early intervention components of the project & supervises administrative support staff, advocacy staff, & other clinical care staff, as well as works closely with licensed clinicians who provide evidence-based treatment to children & their families. This position partners with the Treatment Outcomes staff & is a member of a multi-disciplinary team who provides comprehensive assessment & treatment planning for children at risk of exposure or have a history of exposure to trauma and/or child maltreatment.. This position is also responsible for providing direct patient care to children & their families. This position collaborates with other clinical program leaders

within the Chadwick Center to ensure clients who receive services are supported in accessing the range of services available within the Children's Advocacy Center. In addition, responsible for quality-assurance of the clinical documentation of the treatment team; ensuring that the requirements of the funding source are met; coordinating monthly case file audits; completing monthly/annual reports required of the funding source. Assists in coordinating specific trainings for administrative support & clinical staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree in a Behavioral Science Field

3 Years of Experience

Experience in at least one evidence-based practice modality in early childhood mental health.

BBS licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or CA Board of Psychology licensure.

At least 2 years experience with infant and early childhood mental health.

At least 2 years experience with children and families exposed to trauma

Organizational skills with attention to detail.

At least 2 years experience supervising staff.

CA driver's license and proof of auto insurance, if applicable.

Master's Degree in a behavioral science field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIOS:

5 Years of Experience

At least 4 years experience with EPSDT funding.

5 years experience supervising staff.

Experience with working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Experience in quality assurance/quality improvement processes.

Ability to attend to detailed tasks pertaining to productivity, billing, accurate documentation and meeting reporting requirements

The current salary range for this position is $48.03 to $66.06
